Double-Degree-Program Rostock – St. Petersburg for the Master course Wirtschaftsinformatik (Business Information Systems)

Double degree program with St. Petersburg suspended (03/18/2022)

Due to the current war between Russia and Ukraine and the resulting sanctions, the double degree program has also been suspended. This means that no students from St. Petersburg will be enrolled in Rostock in the 2022 summer semester, no degrees will be awarded to Russian students and no Rostock students will go to St. Petersburg either.

Since December 2015, students in the M.Sc. Acquire two master's degrees at the same time. In the so-called double degree program (double degree) of the University of Rostock with the National Research University for IT, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO) in St. Petersburg, Russia, the double degree students acquire two master's degrees - one from Rostock and one from St. Petersburg.

Many students and colleagues from St. Petersburg have openly expressed their condemnation of Putin's war with Ukraine. We therefore very much hope that the conflict will soon be resolved and that cooperation with these colleagues can be continued in a suitable form.
