Current information

The Higher Education Corona Ordinance MV, published on 1 September 2021, regulates the basic framework conditions for teaching and university operations that permit face-to-face teaching in the winter semester 2021/2022. The University of Rostock plans to offer as much face-to-face teaching as possible in the winter semester.

Please note the rules for participating in face-to-face events and lectures

These apply to the events of the introductory week as well as all courses and other face-to-face events and lectures at the university.

Free self-tests for non-immunized students

Students who are not immunized (i.e. neither vaccinated nor recovered) receive self-tests free of charge from the university so that they can test themselves twice a week until November 15, 2021. From November 15, 2021, students who are not immunized must finance the tests themselves.

Vaccination days at the beginning of the study

The University of Rostock offers students special vaccination campaigns at the beginning of the semester from October 5th to October 26th.

Advice for people vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccines without EU approval

The Institute for Tropical Medicine at the University of Rostock offers advice to students who have been vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccines that are not approved in the EU.
